The importance of a shower hand hose
This photo illustrates a rainfall shower paired with a hand shower hose—a combination that balances beauty with practicality.
One client installed a stunning three-glass-wall shower with only a rainfall fixture. Elegant in appearance, but difficult to maintain—without a hand hose, the glass, tiles, and grout can’t be properly cleaned and rinsed. For our cleaning team, that means extra time, extra steps, and added challenges.
Once plumbing is set behind the wall, adding a hose later is nearly impossible. It’s the kind of detail often overlooked in renovations, yet essential for beauty, function, and long-term care.

Think About It. . .
Design for today—care for tomorrow.
When it comes to interiors, beauty and function must go hand in hand. Practicality shapes not only the form and flow of your design choices—it also determines the long-term care and maintenance of your space.
Consider the details:
• Is the shower door sealed properly, or will leaks become a recurring issue?
• Can every part of a folding glass shower door be cleaned with ease?
• Will your grout choices encourage mold, and if so, how simple will it be to remove?
• Could everyday products—like vinegar or strong chemicals—damage your materials over time?
Design should captivate the eye, but true interior wellness is about ensuring that beauty lasts. The elegance of your space depends on practical choices that make ongoing care effortless.
